The Farmowners Umbrella Liability Policy

It's an excess coverage over underlying (primary) liability policies (i.e., such as Farmowners and Auto policies). The Umbrella becomes the primary insurance in the event of the exhaustion or reduction of underlying aggregate limits. In addition, it provides coverage for those liability exposures not normally covered by underlying liability policies, subject to the Self-Insured Retention (S.I.R.). The policy, Declarations and endorsements will govern exact contract conditions.
